100 Nations Project - Thailand
This populous nation of more than 65 million in Southeast Asia is a corrupt country in need of the life-changing gospel of Jesus Christ. Bribery, corruption, and immorality are prevalent in virtually every strata of society in Thailand. Although Christianity has made some recent impact on this predominately Buddhist country, less than 2% of the population considers themselves Christian.
Bangkok, the capital, is a modern day Sodom and Gomorrah, rife with crime, sex, alcohol, and drugs. Statistics indicate there may be as few as 40,000 Christians in this city of 10 million. The need is great for missionaries to plant churches in Thailand. We are praying for a team of independent Baptists who will cross this border and impact this country for the glory of God.
