100 Nations Project - Gabon
Gabon is situated on the equator in Central Africa and is 77% tropical rain forest. Islam has grown in influence in the country since the President of Gabon converted. However, Bible-believing churches are also experiencing growth in recent years, and great potential waits for the dedicated missionary in Gabon.
With no independent Baptist missionaries in this country of 1.3 million, a team of pioneer church planters is desperately needed. Unreached people groups of the interior present a fruitful open door for the gospel. Opportunities abound for evangelism and discipleship, and Bible institutes are needed to train national workers. Please pray that God will send workers to Gabon.
